Chief Dr. (Mrs.) Oyenike Monica Okundaye
Nike is the Managing Director of Nike Centre for Art and Culture, Osogbo. Popularly known and called “MAMA NIKE” by her numerous fans, she is a multi-talented individual with a wide range of enduring fortitude. She is a rare international icon in art, an accomplished professional artist; a painter, a textile artist, weaver, embroider, and awards winner at many national and international art shows. Nike is a member of many national and international professional bodies. She is also principally a social entrepreneur and a well-known philanthropist. She established a textile (Aso-Oke) weaving center at Ogidi-Ijumu near Kabba in Kogi State for the women of the village, employing and empowering more than 200 rural women in the weaving center. Sophy Wanjiku
Sophy is the Founder of Tribal Trends by Shikoonyango. Inspired by the beauty and culture of different African nations, Tribal Trends creates wearable art pieces for bold and confident women from materials like glass, wood, shell beads, and recycled materials. She empowers women through skill training and gainful employment. She will be our guest speaker on the topic “The Significance of Beads / Wearable Art”.
Fanny Nzie
Fanny is the Founder of Face Beat Boulevard, one of the most sort after Makeup Artist in the African diaspora. With over 5 years of experience in the industry, the brand has focused on and mastered Makeup on women of color, providing its clientele with bespoke makeup looks and eyeshadow applications that command attention.
Fanny will be our special guest on the topic “Makeup and fashion”.
Mokodu Fall
Mokodu is a designer born in Senegal who additionally brings his African identification into his creations. His textiles are hand-painted with African-inspired photographs. “My assortment displays my African origins,” he told AFP. “They are artworks that transpose onto garments.” After working as a cartoonist and painter, Mokodu fall now applies his inventive expertise to trend designs. Mokodu will be our special guest on the topic “Fashion Art“.
Esther Nweje
Esther Nweje is the Lead Image consultant at Zinnystyles Limited, an Image, lifestyle, and public relations consulting agency in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, existing since 2011. She has worked with some of the finest corporate brands to help them build the ideal corporate culture, refine their business etiquette, improve work ethics, design dress code policies, and also human resource consulting. A personal brand expert, whose results speak for itself, Esther is truly a sensation.
Esther Nweje, fondly called Zinny is popularly known for giving a platform to many and breaking new grounds. She convenes Port Harcourt’s foremost indigenous fashion weekend – the HisAndHers Fashion Weekend since 2018 amongst many other fashion events she hosts. Assenting the power of the media, she is also a media personality, anchoring the fashion, etiquette, lifestyle, and entertainment news content on TV and radio, she indeed was born for the lights.
Esther is an avid fashionista, public speaker, teacher, life coach, and mentor to many young persons.
Ms. Fee
Ms. Fee is the founder/CEO of 36 Degrees, the vice president of Miss Supraglobal, the national director of Miss African Golden Europe, and the national director of Miss Summer World. She will speak on the topic Confidence Building –
“Love your own skin”.
